Woodies On the Loose!
We’re handing over a whole section of the park over to our Friends at Leazes park Woodcraft folk who are being very tight-lipped about what they have planned. Make sure you check out the western side of the park and find out what the Woodies are being so coy about!

Welcome!

Welcome to the home of Newcastle Green Gathering – Possibly the UK’s best free music, arts & environment festival

Our 2008 festival will be taking place in Exhibition Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne on the 30th & 31st August (Saturday 12-6pm, Sunday 12-9pm). Featuring 4 stages of local and national music, arts, community groups, alternative therapies, ethical fashions, stalls, food, drink (please note – no alcohol to be brought onto the site - drinks available through event bars), workshops and much more. All dedicated to making sure that everyone in the city and beyond can make small but practical steps to change the environment we live in for the better; and have a great time while learning a bit as well.

We don’t intent to preach or make you feel bad, but we hope that if everyone who visits comes away wanting to do something small to make a difference, big changes will result.
Please take time to have a look around, and don’t forget to come down and soak up the atmosphere of the festival itself – see you in the park!

Noise complaints – If you have any issues with noise during the festival please call 0191 265 5551
